We celebrated Sheri's birthday last week with a classic San Francisco night out in North Beach. We strolled from Metier through the colorful Chinatown shops to the infamous Comstock Saloon for cocktails and delicious pre-dinner snacks. Cheddar crackers with pepper jelly and cream cheese, homemade barbecue chips with ranch dressing- yes please!

From the Saloon we headed to Washington Square for pizza at Tony's Pizza Napoletana. The menu had every pizza imaginable- coal-fired, gas-fired, wood-fired, Sicilian, New York-style, even gluten-free! We scored one of the infamous Margherita pizzas (they only make 73 per day) and the World Champion pizza master Tony himself even made an appearance at our table!

In typical Metier fashion, we ended the night strong...with a big pile of presents and lots of dessert. We managed to polish off tiramisu, neapolitan ice cream cake, Mon T's homemade brownies and chocolate-dipped strawberries, and Rebecca's apricot crumble.
It was another fabulous night of food and laughs with the family, this time celebrating a milestone birthday of one of our best friends. Happy Birthday, Sheri!
