Andrea Linett recently joined eBay as their fashion director after many years in the fashion mag world, including stints at Harper's Bazaar, Sassy, and most recently, Lucky. In a recent article in the San Francisco Chronicle, she raves about our clothing & jewelry collections:

Vanessa Bruno Spring 2011 Promo Video

Every season Vanessa Bruno conjures up these incredible dreamscapes and situations and shoots a short film featuring waify starlets dancing around in her dresses. Last fall's video featured Lou Doillon, who is back again, this time on a surreal romp through the beaches and jungles of Cuba with redhead writer, Jessica Joffe. Co-created with French director, Stephanie Di Gusto, this will surely knock you out!

Rag & Bone goes guerilla!

A new ad campaign by Rag & Bone features models wearing Rag & Bone-- but there's a twist. The models were each given cameras and told to photograph themselves doing what they do while wearing their fave designer. Runway stars Abbey Lee Kershaw, Edita Vilkeviciute, Lily Aldridge and Sasha Pivovarova are all featured in the posters, which are plastered around the streets of New York like help-wanted ads. The results are way more fun and relatable than a giant billboard in Times Square. Who knew models had to pump their own gas?

Isabel Marant on The Feast!

Isabel Marant's S/S Collection is already flying off the shelves! The Feast, NBC's regional "Best Of"site, interviewed Sheri in an article posted today about the French designer's presence in San Francisco. Sheri describes Marant's effortless chic as being perfect for The City:

"Even though she’s French, her clothes are for the quintessential San Francisco woman. Everyone here has a little creativity and she addresses that. It’s a perfect mix of bohemian and a little bit of understated sexy that really works here."

The Feast editors across the also listed Marant as one of the Top 30 designers to watch for this season.

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester and Glee's Diana Agron were both adorned with Cathy Waterman jewels on the Golden Globe's red carpet this past Sunday.




Meester wore sapphire slice earrings with a reverse bracelet, the sorcerers ring and the stained glass ring.

And Agron wore a fairy mesh collar necklace, diamond bracelets, and an agate pin in her hair.

Metier ♥ Kelly Tunstall!

We've featured Kelly's awesome style on the blog before, but this time we're happy to share her incredible talent as a painter! Kelly came in a few weeks ago and photographed the girls to use as references for a new group of paintings for a show at Giant Robot Gallery in New York.



We were so excited and flattered to find out that portraits of Tracy (wearing a Rachel Comey shirt!) and Rebecca (wearing a speckled APC dress!) made it into the show! Thanks Kelly and congratulations on the show!!!

Martha Davis in San Francisco Magazine

This is our favorite season of Martha Davis shoes so far- boots, boots, mules, boots! A recent interview with her in San Francisco Magazine digs into her past as an industrial designer and how she uses those skills to create her artful-yet-wearable shoes.

After so much success with industrial design, why did you start designing shoes?

I was working with many high-tech, high-volume products but found myself miles away from actually making things. I’ve always loved fashion and was drawn to the challenge of designing something usable and beautiful.

Why focus on boots?

Because it’s always freezing in San Francisco, like nowhere else I’ve ever lived. They’re not precious, and you can feel really confident—like you can do most anything in them.
