We are pulling out our past collections at 75% off and have fall collections marked down to 50% off! There are lots of great pieces left, here are some of our favorites:
Trina is excited to spend time with her kids and share the season with them handcrafting presents, baking cookies and making rosemary spiced nuts. She is also one of six kids, so she can't wait for the annual Papini bowling tournament and a prank-filled white elephant gift exchange!

We are proud to introduce you to Bluma Project, a new line of jewelry that works with women's co-ops in Ghana and Rwanda to produce colorful, African-inspired accessories. Bluma supports women's self-sufficiency and employment around the globe and ensures that their partners receive a sustainable wage to support themselves and their families. We are excited to have these beautiful, handmade pieces in the shop and to support a project with cause we are passionate about.
We are all huge fans of charm bracelets and clusters of charms, so our eyes lit up when we saw Tracy's charm necklace. She made it herself from various keepsakes, heirlooms, and a few Metier pieces: the Cathy Waterman dreamer charm and fossilized coral shell and antiques. Such a great idea and easy way to show off a collection of special baubles.
Sheri is looking forward to wearing the incredible fringe dress from Of Two Minds and her favorite antique necklace to Martha Davis' Holiday Dinner; singing off-key Christmas carols in the kitchen while she and her family have their mad cookie decorating party; and giving her daughter her first Jeanine Payer piece with hand-engraved poetry.
Time has come again for one of our favorite Metier traditions- our holiday dinner! We celebrated last week at our perennial favorite, Bar Jules in Hayes Valley, with a pile of presents, tasty homemade treats, and lots of laughs.
Jessica Boncutter and her awesome staff always serve up some tasty dishes while we exchange gifts and schmooze. We toasted with elderflower Proseccos to another successful year- our 20th birthday, launch of the website, and the new members of the team: Iju, Holly, Lindsay, and Monica T! And of course, no dinner is complete without our favorite desserts- chocolate nemesis cake and a lemon lavender tart!
Happy Holidays, everyone and cheers to 2012!
The pretty present pile!
Monica T., Monica O., Trina & Sheri are turtle-tuck-tilting in this one.
Lindsay, Holly & Rebecca did not employ the TTT technique here.
Trina's homemade spiced nuts!
Holly's cat wrap!
Monica O's embroidered tote & wrapped twigs!
Monica T's peace wrap!
Alexander Wang & Jerome Drefuss made these ladies very happy!
This holiday season, Rebecca is throwing a big Chanukkah party on December 27th with her blog, BIG THINGS, The Kitchen and The Adventure School! She's excited for high-stakes dreidel, homemade latkes, and the glowing light of the menorah. And of course, an awesome outfit from Metier! You're invited!
Holly is looking forward to seasonal traditions like ice skating and lounging on the couch while listening to some of her favorite Christmas albums, including the entire Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack on heavy repeat.
This season Lindsay is excited for her mom's apple turnovers, her new bicycle, and snow trips up north to visit her boyfriend, who is spending the winter in Tahoe!
Monica T. is looking forward to making hard sugar candy with her fiancee's family; decorating 2 Christmas trees- one for the family and one for her son (Chuggington-themed); and hosting Christmas at her house, making sure to fill up on homemade Italian food, wine and cannolis!
